Thanksgiving 2008 was filled with family, friends and lots of laughter. All the kids came home, and several brought significant others, and/or friends. We hung out all day cooking, ate late in the afternoon, then spent time playing board games, eating pumpkin pie, and reminiscing about how chaotic it was when I was a single mom bringing up the older 5 children (always interesting to see the world through their eyes; I never remember things quite the same way as they do:).We celebrated Lily and Sherrie's birthday as a family on Thanksgiving since the whole gang was together, so we had cake as well as pie. It was especially great to have Dylan and Sam here, as they had recently moved to Minnesota and were about to start new jobs there. Good, good times...............
