I caught Lily basking in the sun in our window the other day. She was so relaxed and so completely at peace that I hated to intrude with my camera. Of course I could not help myself..................

Blowing Bubbles, An Easter Ritual.........

Although it was cold on Easter, Lily was determined to take her new bubble-blowing kit outside and make a go of it. It has become one of her favorite things on Easter, next to eating chocolate that is. Her hands did get cold and she was ready to come in at least for a momentary break and a couple more bites of her chocolate bunny. Then is was back outside again......

Lily and the Easter Bunny

We took Lily to see the Easter Bunny last Saturday. She was so happy to see him! This is a bit odd since she will not sit with Santa and has no interest for any other large animated beings. But she adores the Easter Bunny year after year. Notice her hands in the picture where she is waving to the Easter Bunny; leftovers from coloring eggs:).

Welcome Home

I recently went to Marquette Michigan to be with my son Dylan when he had surgery. I was happy I was able to be with him for several days, and enjoyed my time with him even under the circumstances. It was nice coming home to Lily's welcome that Daddy helped her construct on the deck. Dylan is doing well now. We love and miss you Dylan and can't wait to see you next month!!

Lily was given a box with 10 finger puppets for Christmas. She has played with them for hours, usually in our bay window seat, and then carefully places them back in the box after saying good night to each one of them. Life and changes..........

Aquarian Days.............
I decided to create another video from pictures (about 4 minutes long) that I have taken over the past month. Three of us (me and my oldest son Dustin and oldest daughter Melanie) had birthdays within the last couple of weeks so we always celebrate those together. You will see a picture of me crying, it was a "good" cry since my husband had collected different art work, writings, photographs and written thoughts from all of my children and bound it together in a book. It was truly the best gift I could have recieved.......I also added pictures of Lily and Cassidy swimming at the YMCA and some pictures of Lily sledding today since we had a snow day here in Ohio. Amazing how fast time goes as I watch the faces and lives of my children change from year to year. It has been quite the "ride" so to speak. And then this year will bring so many more changes with Cadence and Colton graduating from high school and Dylan graduating from college. Colton will be starting the architect program at the University of Cincinnati and Cadence is applying to a couple schools but is undecided at this point. Melanie will graduate with her MBA in December and who knows where that will take her. And then there is Dustin who is constantly growing in his life and profession. And my gosh, Cassidy will be 10 and Lily turns 5 (but not until late in the year). Wow, and so it goes..... I guess that is why it makes sense to just take one day at a time. These changes will happen soon enough...........
